Much ado about nothing

After listening to couple of songs from the new Pet Shop Boys album Electric, Im really disappointed. Axis was an instrumental italodisco song and these other songs seem to be more or less PSB:s old style or trendy sounds. 

This is the same kind phenonemon than in the case of Daft Punk: Random access melodies. The media frenzy was really big but the album turned out to be a flop.

Seems to me that fewer and fewer bands are being true to their own sound...
