Marina & The Diamonds: Electra heart -review

It´s always dangerous for an indie artist to go mainstream, because you might end up losing your old fans. But in this case, Marina has incorporated the best of both worlds.

The deluxe version has 16 songs which is a lot to chew on. With mainstream producers like Dr.Luke, Steve Angello and Stargate, Marina has really taken a step forward to deliver some great poptunes. Starting with infectious Bubblegum bitch, Electra heart is a joyous ride of electro/poprock/dubstep, you name it. But it really comes together as a full album.

Marina has a voice that resembles Katy Perry, but with lot more depth. It might irritate some people but as for me, I like dramatic voices like Marina has. Especially I like her voice in Sex yeah, which is a commentary of todays popworld...

I liked Marina & The Diamonds before, but I have to say that now I´m a big fan...
