EDM is dead

Before you read this, listen the mix from this site first:

...and you know know what I´m talking about here:

I´ve listened dance music for 20 years and I have never declared electronic dance music (EDM) so dead as it is today.  When the big pop artists like Enrique Iglesias, Madonna and Britney decide to dabble with EDM, then YOU know that the this dance music phenomena is going to crash any time soon.

And you see the signs already. Artists who made good trance or dance music before are turning their signature sounds into stomach-churning Avicii and Martin Garrix copies. These dj´s and producers are making music for only for the mainstream audiences where the big bucks are. Due to this, they are turning their backs to their  musical identity and to their loyal fans who have followed them over the years.

Artists like Tiesto,David Guetta, Cosmic Gate, First State seem to get their kicks by producing mindless "DROP"  tunes or Avicii knock-offs which die soon after they have been published. Who in the right mind says that they listen gladly this mindless crap, which only purpose is to make money and get an response from the boozed-up live audience, who dont care about the MUSIC.

I sure as hell hope that this EDM thing is slowing down. These Beatport hookers have no idea what they are doing to whole music industry.

P.S. I hate the whole EDM-word, but I´ve used it here to clarify my point.

P.S.S: Heres a couple of the most horrible "hits". And they even sound alike like all these kind of "crowd pleasers".
