Sean Paul: Tomahawk technique review

Dancehall goes dance? Quite so, but as not much you might expect. Sean Paul has his dancehall roots and he isnt going to wander away from that.

Having said that, not putting this in the context of dancemusic, I have to say that I really enjoyed this album. Previously all Pauls singles have been total  crap, but this has really interesting sound solutions...

For example Stargate has penned three songs and done a hell of a good job. Stargate are at their best when they do r´n´b with nice crust of trance-like synths. Also Dj Ammos Touch the sky is a real electrohouseblaster :-)  The most stupid of the bunch is Wedding crashes, which reminds me of the old Sean Paul...The album should have stopped at Touch the sky.

This is an album for the openminded who are a bit bored of typical American clubbeats. Good work Sean =)
