Adam Lambert: Trespassing - review

Adam Lamberts first album was quite a typical Idols-album mixed with pop, dance and mainly rock. However this second album proves to be something much more than that...

Adam sticks his paws into the vast area of dancemusic with the album Trespassing. First half of the album is more up-beat and second half is ballads and a bit of dubstep. Gone are the trashy guitars when the beat is the hottest thing right now.

What really excites me on this album is the quality of ballads. They are done with a cool electronic style and thats what separates them from your usual pop ballad. It´s also nice to see that Adam making a statement for us gay people with the powerful Outlaws of love.

And how good are the dance songs, you ask? Well, they really are great!  Even the songs written by Pharrell have a funky disco tone to them, which really diversifies the sound of the album. My favorite of them all may be Never close our eyes, which probably will be a radio hit.

All in all, Trespassing is the album that the first album should have been. Adventurous journey to the electronic sound coated with Adams sultry sound. This is one of the Top 5 albums for me this year =)
