Timoteij: Tabu -review

Timoteij might a bit unknown for people who dont watch Melodifestivalen (that is a competition for who gets to represent Sweden in the Eurovision song contest). Timoteij has been two times in Melodifestivalen, this year with the song Stormande hav.

Timoteijs first album Längtan was more ethnic with violins and such and this new one is paved with club sounds such as electrohouse and dubstep. Imagine Finnish Värttinä doing music like this ;-)

And OMG the refrains are out of this world!!! Imagine an album where every song could be a single. The best one of the bunch is probably Tabu, which is so uplifting that you forget that Loreens Euphoria ever even existed!!!

And the album is a full-on dancealbum, no ballads, just dancemusic. Even the legendary Ace of Base gets a nod on the last song Bara för en natt.

Absolutely fabulous girls, and they are cute too =)
