Milk Inc: 15 (The Very best of) -review

Belgian dance act Milk Inc has always been one of favorites of all time. Sounding better than classier than Scooter, this band has always managed to sound great (until the recent days, that is).  This cd-collection covers their career from 1996 to 2011 and it also contains a live dvd of their best concert performances.  Also included is one new song I´ll be there (La Vache), which is a new version of their old hit.

The first released were pure club stompers like Free your mind until at the turn of the century Milk Inc changed their sound into more trancepop, which was more trendier that time. They have managed to uphold their trance sound until the year 2012 when they released a couple of Avicii -style songs, which tell me that the record company insists that they make trendy music. Let´s face it, trancepop isnt the trendiest sound anymore, and thats what makes me sad.

Put this collection is a pure eargasm of uplifting melodies, hard beats and beautiful vocals by Linda Mertens. This contains absolutely the best any  dance act could offer. I highly recommend this collection for anybody who hasnt heard about Milk Inc yet...
